Academic Biography
Dr. Abdel-Rahman Al Qawasmi is an academic in the field of Electrical Engineering with professional interests in communication systems, signal processing, voice recognition, neural networks, engineering education, and academic quality assurance. His academic work combines teaching, research, student supervision, curriculum development, and continuous improvement activities related to engineering programs.
His research interests include wireless communication systems, wavelet-transform-based voice recognition, neural-network applications in speech processing, and engineering simulation using tools such as MATLAB. He is also actively involved in the development and implementation of academic quality systems that support assessment, documentation, reporting, and accreditation requirements.
In addition to teaching and research, Dr. Al Qawasmi contributes to accreditation and quality assurance activities, including ABET Student Outcomes assessment, course file review, curriculum alignment, continuous improvement reporting, faculty workshops, and academic integrity initiatives.
